The Saved by Cole McCade was a great novella!!
As soon as I saw the synopsis and cover, I knew I was going to need to read this book. I was so glad that I did.
The characters were written beautifully and constantly had me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out more about them.
I loved this novel, and can't wait to read more from this author!

This novella gives us a peek into Vin "Priest" Manion before the events in THE FOUND. What makes this worth the read, is the author's ability to bring the pages to life with his descriptions. The reader and feel and breathe what it is like in the darkest of night in Crow City. What it's like to wrestle the demons fighting for control of Priest's mind. All the pain, all the desperations....the reader gets a very good glimpse of what it is like to be Priest.
Details are best left for the reader to find. You may get more from the story if you have read the other books in the series. You will certainly want to jump into The Found once you finish here.

I absolutely love the companion novellas Cole McCade writes as part of his Crow City series. I'm never left feeling that I need any more after finishing the novels, but I can't deny I have a hunger for that little bit more that deeper insight into the male character's past and thoughts, and the paths their lives have taken to get them to the point where we meet them for the first time.

If you've read The Found, The Saved is a must read and one which will leave you completely satisfied, craving a re-read of the series so far. From the emotion and feelings it pulls from you, to the acknowledgement of important real-life matters, Cole crams so much into a shorter read and paces it perfectly. Picking a Crow City novel/novella for me is like visiting old friends and I can't wait to return and see what the future holds in store.
It happens with each story i read, every little piece of Crow City i get to see, i fall a little more. This story was beautifully painful. And i looooved every single second.
This book deserves more words than I can bring it. It's another dark, beautiful novella in the Crow City series.
